All year. Solo papayas have a bright-yellow orange flesh, tender green-yellow skin and weigh about 1 pound. Slice in half lengthwise, remove seeds and eat out of the shell with a spoon or peel and slice into fruit salads or on ice cream. STORAGE: Keep at room temperature until ripe or flesh gives to gentle pressure. Once ripe, refrigerate for up to 3 days. DISPLAY: Display with citrus, bananas or tropicals.
